A considerable amount of school fund goes into maintaining and improving the school site. This is often overlooked and yet is it crucial to ensure the children are happy, safe and in a pleasant learning environment. The Year 5 had their carpets replaced over the half term and Year 6 have brand new ergonomic chairs. The maths group room has new tables and chairs and due to the increase in the use of Chromebooks across the school the computing suite is being repurposed to be two learning spaces and a possibly expanded Wellbeing / ELSA room. We are soon to get more playground markings put in the playground to stimulate playtime games and the netball pitches will be remarked at the same time. School Council is a very active part of pupil voice and they have conveyed the kinds of games and school improvements that they would like. No doubt the children will let you know as they see these new resources appear.
