Year 5 have been working incredibly hard on their presentations about autism the last three weeks. We are reading Can You See Me? and the main character has autism. In the book, Tally speaks about her autism and it is co-written by Libby Scott (a young girl with autism who shares her own experiences through the fictional character Tally). The Year 5s have thought about how to share their learning this half term through Canva presentations which we today shared with the whole school. The Year 5 children did remarkably well presenting to 6 children across the school and spoke clearly the entire time. Due to photo permissions across the school, we are unable to share all the photos but we have shared a few so you can see a snippet of our morning.
It was lovely having a whole school event on the playground, in the sun, to start our Friday morning. Well done to the Year 5s for being absolutely fabulous today!
