Year 3 and 4 Football Tournament - Friday 9th February 2024
Today, Friday 9th February 2024, Year 3 and 4 took part in a tournament alongside five other teams. We played three matches, we lost the first two but the won the third match. In the third match we saw some amazing goals and some incredible goal keeping from Carter, so everyone left feeling positive with a 4-2 win.
Year 3 and 4 Girls Football Tournament - Friday 2nd February 2024
Well done to all the Year 3 and 4 children who took part in the girls' football tournament on Friday 2nd February 2024, at Auriol Junior School. It was a fantastic event and our girls came out firing on all cylinders. Opportunities came through for the girls who proved triumphant and finished top of the group securing a place in the final with Auriol School.
Wallace Fields Juniors went ahead in the first half, however Auriol School came back to win 2-1. Wallace Fields Girls are proud to be runners up at the end of the tournament. Massive thank you to coach Tim who's experience and enthusiasm is inspiring our budding Year 3 and 4 girls' football team.
Year 5 and Year 6 Girls' Football Match Report - 7th February 2024
On Wednesday 7th February 2024 the Year 5 and 6 girls had a home football fixture with St Martin's . St Martin's brought some strong and experienced players who clearly knew their way around a football pitch. Our girls worked hard though St Martin's proved to be just too good. A fun experience for our girls non the less. Well done to Wallace Fields Juniors who backed by Tamzin in goal showed more assertiveness and therefore had more success in the final quarter. Thanks to all our players and supporters.
