Well done to the Year 6 who had their National Tests (SATs) this week. The atmosphere is always calm and the attitude is simply one of doing our best. We had the SATs administration regulators in on Monday to check that all the rules they have around the tests were being followed and they went away happy. The rules around taking SATs are increased every year and we try very hard to not let this obsessive and extensive red tape spoil the mood in the school. The irony of it being Mental Health Week in SATs week is not lost on us. The Year 6 had a lovely fun day today to mark the end of the week and we can get on with our exciting summer term curriculum without the cloud of the tests over us.

Message from Miss Hill and Ms Gough "A big thank you to all of the volunteers who came in to support Year 6 this week with their national tests. The children were reassured, happy and settled throughout the week and we are so proud of each and every one of them for their incredible efforts. They were all Stars of the Week! A big thank you as well to Amalie Dave and Amelia Salmon for giving up their Inset day to come and answer questions from the girls also heading to Rosebery in September."
