Drumming has definitely seen an increased profile in the school over the last few weeks as we were very kindly donated a kit by an ex-governor. This week we were treated to some very cool beats when Bobby, a drummer who performs in West End shows and neighbour of Mrs Day, visited the school to share his talents during our Music assembly. He got everyone involved practising single, double and paradiddle strokes on their knees and a few children were lucky enough to have a go on the real kit themselves. He then performed a solo which very much inspired us all! Here are a few photos from the afternoon.
