A huge thank you to all those who came along to our Summer Celebration event on the lower field on Friday before the summer fair. We were treated to a magnificent performance of songs form year groups, the choir and whole school. The dance group performed their dance that was our representation at the Epsom and Ewell Dance Festival. In addition to this it was an opportunity to say a formal farewell to Mrs Boddy who leaves our team for the joyful horizon of retirement which she so richly deserves after working with us at Wallace Fields Juniors for 27 years. Mrs Boddy's sister also came along to see the children perform a special song for her.

Thanks also to those volunteers and members of the PTA that helped with the Summer Fair. Thanks also to the teachers who monitored the inflatables and a variety of stalls. Well done to the entrepreneur children who successfully bid 'Dragon's Den' style to have a stall and sell their wares. These stalls did extremely well and all the goods were hand made  or hand crafted gifts and ideas.
