
Further to my letter to all parents sent 20 June 2025 inviting nominations for the parent governor vacancies arising this term, I am pleased to say that we have received five nominations for the two vacancies. This means we must now hold a ballot.
Notes on Voting Procedure
• You have up to two votes to cast.
• You may not vote for the same candidate twice.
• Each parent/carer must vote separately.
Attached to this letter is a copy of the candidates’ personal statements. For reference, the Governing Body highlighted in the call for nominations that it would particularly welcome experience or background in safeguarding, strategy development, special educational needs or law.
Please click here to vote for your preferred candidates by Friday 18 July 2025 at 8.45am. All electronic votes must include a valid parents mobile phone number for verification purposes only. If you prefer to submit a non-electronic vote then please collect a hard copy ballot form and instructions from the School Office.
The election will be decided by a simple majority of votes cast. In the event of a tie, the successful candidate will be decided by the returning officer drawing lots in the presence of a witness and any candidates who have attended the count.
