Year 6 thoroughly enjoyed their French Market Tasting today. Both classes were beautifully behaved and did some excellent French speaking! The bravest children even tried the St Agur blue cheese, but the pastries remained the biggest hit!
A "grand merçi" to our fabulous French speaking helpers who, after setting up, played the role of the stall holders: Mrs Tesselment, Mrs Dave, Mrs Ramsay, and Mrs Kinsey-Quick. Also assisting was Nigel Collin and Donna Williams (respectively the Chairman and the Treasurer) of the Epsom and Ewell Town Twinning Association who provided the children with French stickers and a badge. The fabulous French pastries and baguettes were supplied by the wonderful Park View Café. Mme Cornell
